Introduction to Siena

We are pleased to announce that Siena Catholic College, a new K-12 co-educational school, is opening in Pymble in January 2027. Siena is part of the Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) system of 45 schools and will unite the learning communities of Sacred Heart Pymble and Our Lady of Perpetual Succour (OLPS) West Pymble. This vibrant multi-campus college is designed to grow with your child. Our first Year 7 cohort will commence in January 2027, and by 2030 Siena Catholic College will be a K-12 school.

Academic Focus

As part of the Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) system of 45 schools, Siena Catholic College will deliver education grounded in authenticity, excellence and compassion. The strong foundations of learning at Sacred Heart, Pymble and OLPS, West Pymble, coupled with the proven track record of CSBB secondary schools in delivering outstanding academic outcomes for all students, will support student learning in the secondary years. Following the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) accredited curriculum, students will study a broad range of subjects leading to the HSC credential. This offering, as well as alternative opportunities for students seeking to pursue vocational pathways, will be delivered with rigour and high expectations. Siena Catholic College will support every student to achieve their very best.

Faith

Our mission is at the heart of everything we do. Through our focus on mission and access to opportunities to explore and deepen their faith, we will partner with families to form young people who will witness the love of God and shape the world with courage, compassion and stewardship.

Wellbeing

Students engage well in their learning and flourish in every way when they have a sense of positive wellbeing. Our Student Wellbeing Framework will ensure consistent, holistic pastoral care and programmes that nurture resilience, connection and spiritual formation. We will work closely with families to support each child’s social, emotional, academic, and faith development.
