Welcome to our specialist K-4 Campus, a place purpose-built for young learners, where every space, resource and program is designed around the developmental needs of children in the foundation years. Guided by our Catholic values of Joy, Faith, Witness, Compassion, and Courage, which shape our culture, curriculum and community, our expert early years teachers focus exclusively on this stage of childhood, creating a small, nurturing environment where every child is known by name and supported to grow in confidence, belonging and strong relationships with peers and staff.

K – 4 | Foundation Years

The Foundation Years at Siena Catholic College’s St Bernardine Junior Campus are a truly special time in your child’s learning journey. From Kindergarten through to Year 4, children are immersed in a warm, nurturing environment purpose-built for young learners, where every space, resource and program is designed with their developmental needs in mind.

Future-Focused Learning

Our students enjoy a rich range of specialist programs, including hands-on STEM exploration, Creative Arts, and evidence-based literacy programs through InitiaLit and MacqLit to set every child up for reading success. We also offer exciting VR and AI learning experiences with real-world application, SPARK Days for high-potential and gifted learners, and engaging Sport and PE programs delivered by a specialist sport teacher and external providers, all within an environment where students can flourish and thrive.

Purpose-Built Facilities

Our campus features purpose-built facilities designed with young learners in mind, including age-appropriate playground equipment that promotes physical development and creative play, and beautiful shaded tree areas that create natural, calming learning environments. Children enjoy year-round active play on our covered all-purpose basketball court, while bright, welcoming classrooms with flexible learning spaces support a range of teaching styles and activities to bring out the best in every student.
